Power outages? Know if you will be affected VECO's Planned Power Outage Advisory (PPOA) system is a communication tool allowing its customers to receive advisories on scheduled power outages through text and e-mail. Aside from publishing on the local newspapers, Veco's website, facebook and twitter, the power utility sees the importance to inform affected customers in advance through e-mail and text messaging, giving them ample time to prepare for any event in their calendar. PPOA's SMS text messaging This one-way system is designed to send the data (on scheduled power outage) to a customer affected, for free. For customers to receive the advisory, they must first register in Veco's website, or through this link http://www.veco.com.ph/page.html?main=company&sub1=profile&sub2=signup Customers must provide the required data vital to the system's operation, such as VECO Account Name, Account ID/s, two e-mail addresses (official and personal), and cellphone number. For customers with multiple VECO accounts with the same address, they may use the same contact details. Should there be changes on their contact details, these may be updated using the same given link, or log on to www.veco.com.ph to register for power outage advisory. |
