Important payment guidance from Visayan Electric

At Visayan Electric, we are implementing the ERC’s directive to suspend disconnection for qualifying residential customers using 200 kWh or less per month for unpaid November and December 2026 bills. Earlier bills remain payable, and the required payment conditions still apply.

Who is covered

We will suspend disconnection for non-payment of November and December 2026 bills for residential customers whose monthly consumption does not exceed 200 kWh. This includes customers using exactly 200 kWh.

What you need to settle

  • To avoid service interruption for bills due before May 2026, we recommend that you settle all such prior outstanding bills on or before November 3, 2026.

  • To qualify for the November-December 2026 disconnection suspension, you must settle all unpaid regular bills and due installments for May-July 2026 on or before November 26, 2026.

  • If you do not settle those May-July amounts by November 26, you will not qualify for the November-December suspension. We may disconnect service for non-payment after prior written notice.

  • For unpaid bills or installments from August-October 2026, we will also suspend disconnection for covered customers if the total amount due for May-July 2026 has been fully paid. Please settle August-October arrears on or before December 26, 2026.

Who is not covered

If your residential account uses more than 200 kWh per month, or your account is non-residential, the November-December 2026 disconnection suspension does not apply. Please pay those bills by the regular due dates shown on your statements to avoid disconnection.

Flexible payment options

For covered residential customers, we will provide staggered or deferred payment for November-December 2026 bills over at least three months from receipt of the bill. Installments may appear in subsequent billing statements. You may also pay the bill in full; if you are able to do so, we encourage full payment.
