Visayan Electric Co., Inc. through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites all prospective bidders to apply eligibility and subsequent bid for the:


  1. Name of Project: Visayan Electric 2nd Floor Banilad Office Renovation

  2. Project Scope: Supply of labor and materials for the office space renovation of Visayan Electric

  3. Bid Document Fee: PHP5,000.00 (non-refundable)


The significant times and deadlines of procurement activities are shown below: 


  1. Issuance of Bidding Documents

November 15 to November 20, 2023

2. Pre-Bid Conference

November 22, 2023 @ 2:00 PM

3. Deadline of Submission of Bids

November 28, 2023 @ 5:00 PM

4. Opening of Eligibility Documents, and Technical Bids 

November 29, 2023 @ 10:00 AM

5. Announcement of Eligible Bidders

November 30, 2023

6. Opening of Financial Bids

December 01, 2023 @ 2:00 PM


Procurement will be conducted through open competitive procedure. To bid for this requirement, the vendor must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) together with the following documents: 

  1. Certificate of Business Registration (BIR)

  2. List of completed projects (of Similar Nature)

  3. PCAB License


Further, only vendors who will meet the following eligibility criteria will qualify for technical evaluation: 


  1. The Bidder or each entity (in case of a joint venture or association) must be operating as a business for at least 5 years.

  2. The Bidder must have at least 5 successfully accomplished similar projects. 

  3. The Bidder must not have been blacklisted or disbarred/sanctioned by any Aboitiz Business Unit.

  4. The Bidder must have successfully enrolled in our procurement system’s online supplier portal.

  5. The Bidder must have a PCAB license.


Interested bidders may submit their LOI and address their queries to the Bid Manager, Ms. Hannah Cybil Morales, thru email at hannah.morales@visayanelectric.com. Interested bidders must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to the release of the Bidding Documents.


The Bid Manager shall issue the Bidding Documents (BDs) to complying parties via email, during office hours, upon payment of the nonrefundable Bid Document fee and submission of the signed NDA.


The Bid Manager will hold a Pre-bidding Conference to discuss the details of the project and questions arising from the BDs, on  November 22, 2023, 2:00 PM, at Visayan Electric Banilad Office. 


The Bids and Awards Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids that at any time prior to contract award, without hereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
